How to do Laundry While Traveling?

When travelers go abroad on longer trips, they often need a more clothes because they stay for months. But the problem here is airlines will restrict not to bring more than the permissible weight to the destination. In these cases, travelers need to wash their clothes regularly to wear for that many days. There are two options for washing their clothes. One is giving clothes to the laundry which costs more money and the option is hand-washing your clothes on your own.

However, for travelers who can bear cash for giving their clothes to laundry it is not hard. But for those people who unable to bear such costs can easily wash their clothes with in a less amount of time and in their hotels only. The only requirements for washing are a bucket or a sink (sink closed with sink stopper to remain water in the sink), detergent solutions or shampoos, ropes etc.

In most countries buckets are not provided. You need to wash your clothes in the sink. For this, first see that if the sink is clean. After that you place the sink stopper in the drain. Turn on the tap to fill the sink with required amount of water. The water will remain in a sink due to the placing of sink stopper. Then, add detergent or shampoo in water for getting mild soap solution and then soak your dirty clothes in that sink for half an hour to one hour. Here make sure that you clean the dirty parts on the cloths by simply rubbing with hands for removing the dirty particles. Then rinse with enough clean water until the soap water comes out from the clothes. Then squeeze the washed clothes with hand to remove excess amount of water. Then dry your clothes by hanging or stringing on the wires you brought or on the chairs, bed corners, windows of the hotels. For better drying of the clothes you dry your clothes under sun, fan or you can use air dryer (if emergency).

The above process will saves you lot of cash when traveling and also it keeps you fresh.
