The recent attacks on Gaza have left the place and its citizens destroyed to a big extent. They need an external aid from people outside, in order to get back to normal positions.

But when they approached broadcasters to air their appeals, they faced a startling refuse from them. These broadcasters even include big names like BBC. Broadcasters in fear of risking their political neutrality refused the plea appealed by the DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee). The appeal was launched on 22^nd January to raise the $2 billion funds suggested by the UN.

Even DEC was not sure what was wrong with the broadcasters. When they raised £10m for the Congo, they were supported; when they raised £18m for Burma, they were supported. But why they are not supporting to raise funds for Gaza?

If Israel really had intentions to attack Hamas and not the innocent civilians of Gaza, even Israel should take part in raising these funds. If Israel did not support it and rather raised issues, then it is clear that it cheated us. In fact, it cheated the World.
