There are a large number of companies offering car insurance facility. They will give many advertisements in different medias like televisions, Internet, etc. The problem is how to select the best suitable car insurance company. For this, you have to do some research at your home because every company is different. If you are willing to do research and have some patient, you will not only save your valuable money, but also you will gain the peace of mind by knowing those companies more than adequately covered.

Company license check: The insurance companies have the limits. Not all the companies have the license to operate their business in all the states. A few of them will have the license to operate. You have to buy the insurance policy only from the licensed company in your state.

Some people buy the insurance policy from online and latter they came to know about the concerned company do not have the authorized license to perform operations in their states. Points on Vehicle Maintenance That Anyone Can do

Regular maintenance can extend the life of a vehicle as it helps increase the value when we want to sell that vehicle. Even you can save bills on replacement. Some maintenance things can be done by anybody and something cannot be done by us except professional mechanics. However the drivers of the vehicle should know some of the maintenance things because who knows what happens when on the road.

There are many maintenance items that you yourself can perform regularly. Some require tools and others require some time but they can all be done safely in the comfort of your own garage. But make sure that whatever you are doing with your vehicle, simply follow the safety precautions listed in the manufactures manual to avoid hazards.

Following are items that anybody can perform for maintaining the vehicle:

Air filter: Changing the air filter is one of the easiest auto maintenance items you can do to save money. You can replace this within few minutes but the key factor is when to replace.

Oil: Changing oil is necessary for every 5000 miles for newer vehicles and it is recommended by most automobile manufacturers.

PCV valve: The positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) controls the air pressure inside the engine. It should be replaced for every 50,000 miles. It requires no tools.

Light bulbs: Replacing light bulbs is not a difficult task. The only thing needed is a screwdriver to remove the lens of the cover to access the bulb.

Wiper blades: Replacing wiper blades is also so easy that anybody can do and these are available at all stores.

Tire rotation: If you can change a tire you can change tire rotation.

What Is Car Lease Agreement?

Agreement is something that involves legal interference and person can claim opposition at the court of law in case of any inconvenience. Similarly, car leasing companies also make the leaser to sign an agreement to avoid any disparities between them at the time of leasing period. This agreement is called 'car lease agreement.'

Before signing agreement, one should ensure that they have gone through all the terms and conditions in the document and then signed the contact.

Following are some terms that are generally disclosed primarily in the lease agreement.

Lessee name - Name of the owner or leasing company offering the car lease.

Leaser name – Name of the person who is going to take the car for lease.

Cost of the vehicle – It should include purchase cost and lease cost of the vehicle at the time of agreement, because, if the person wishes to buy the vehicle at the end of the contract, he should be offered the same price that was mentioned in the contract.

Taxes – Some companies/owners may offer tax benefits, some may have extra taxes, all those should be included, and also see that tax is collected as per government rules.

Monthly payments – Some leasing companies may demand some down payment which is generally 3 months payment. It is refundable at the time of end of the lease period. Agreement should include information regarding down payment and monthly payment including taxes.

Insurance cover – If leasing company is offering any insurance cover to the leaser, then it should disclose information about what is the insurance cover given, to what extent it is given, will they collect extra money for insurance premiums, if so what is the amount?

Maintenance costs – Any extra charges for maintenance during leasing period, penalty in case of wear and tear of vehicle, etc., should be mentioned in the contract.

Penalty for extra miles – In the agreement, the number of miles allowed to traveled should be mentioned and, if the leaser drives more than specified miles, will he be charged any extra amount.

Termination period – There will be specific time limit. The agreement should include the start date and the end date of the car leased.

Authorized signatures – Should include signatures of both lessee and leaser. Leasing company's stamp and signatures of witnesses from both sides should be included in the agreement.

The person who is leasing the car should completely agree on the terms and condition before signing the contract and once the contact is signed the car remains in your responsibility until the car leasing company closes the lease.

Maruti Suzuki Launches A-star with Automatic Transmission in India

Maruti Suzuki has introduced A star Automatic with impressive 4 speed Automatic transmission for Indian customers. Craze has begun for this model because of it's small dimensions, ease of driving and overall flexibility. This model was fitted with a neat 1.0 litre 3 cylinder K series engine by which spirited driving and great mileage is offered.

An automatic gearbox was installed in the A-star car. This makes you free from worries of having to use the clutch a thousand times a day. There are six modes, such as, power windows, CD or MP3 player and height adjustable driver seat. Earlier, in India, it has introduced A-star model with manual transmission. It became most popular because it has the ability to move in crowded roads in cities. It has fuel efficiency of 17 kmpl.

A-star Automatic will be cheaper car with an automatic transmission in India with the price of Rs 4,34,535 Lakhs.

Increase in the Car Sales During the Month of June

Auto sales are increasing day by day in India. As the people of India are showing much interest towards new trends and new models. Both the Indian car makers and the companies of the other countries are also showing their interest to market their products in India.

Sales of cars during the month of June are on hike. As the consumer demands are increasing day by day. Maruti Suzuki, Ford India, Tata Motors and General Motors sales have increased in the month of May when compared to the sales of last year.


During the year 2008, because of the higher loan costs and huge job cuts even due to the global financial crisis, the sales of cars in India decreased. But because of the economic turn around steps taken by the government of India, the sales of India have increased again in 2009.


Even the analysts of India say that the sales of the cars will be strong during this year. A senior analyst at fortune equity brokers say that the demand of the cars has overflowed this year.


During the most recent financial quarter, there is an expansion of 8.6 % year-on-year in Indian economy, in turn the banks are also lending.


But as of now, the car makers are planning to increase the cost of the vehicles as the cost of the raw materials like rubber and steel increased. Apart from this the government also increased the cost of petrol and diesel during the last week of June.


India's market is an under penetrated market. The sales of the cars in India are very less when compared to United states. Most of the consumers are buying their first car, because of most of the companies want to market their cars.


According to the industry estimates, there is a very less ratio of eight cars per 1000 people in India and 850 vehicles per 1000 people in United states.


Sales Of Maruti Suzuki in the month of June: When compared to the sales of last year, the sales of Maruti Suzuki increased to 88, 091 vehicles but during the last year the sales are 85, 109 vehicles.


Sales Of Tata motors in the month of June: Tata motors, the country's largest commercial vehicle maker, sold 67, 730 passenger and commercial vehicles in the month of June and the sales of June increased by 49% when compared to the last year sales. According to the officials of the company, Jaguar Land Rover sales increased in the month of June. Even the sales of the Nano also increased and it is 63% increase. There is a 33% increase in the sales of commercial vehicles which includes trucks.


Hyundai Motor Sales: Hyundai India motors is the country's second largest car maker, when compared to the sales of all companies, these sales are being dropped by about 2%.


Ford India Sales: The sales in the June increased. The popular Figo model led to the sales.


General Motors India: The sales of the cars are 9,539 cars. Here the Chevrolet Spark and the Chevrolet Beat had led to the sales.

Beemer Launched by BMW in India

The sales of the cars of India are increasing day by day. Many companies are launching their new models in India because of the increase in the sales of cars in India.

The latest generation car, 2010 BMW 5-series sedan, has been brought down to the market of India by BMW. It was launched recently in the other countries apart from India. These range of cars are brought from the Munich as the recent sales of new models increased in India.


The cost of the new versioned petrol powered car is about Rs.38.9 lakh. The 530d model, which is powered by diesel will cost Rs. 45.9 lakh. The production of the cars will be done in CKD units. In addition to the previous cars, the BMW, has even introduced the stonking petrol Fueled 535i as a CBU,and the exclusive-showroom price will be around Rs.58 lakh through out the India.


The new Beemer has all the capabilities like curtailed fuel consumption, cleaner emissions, new technology etc. This model will make the customers give a lot of comfort and in turn the sales will increase.

Auto Sales for the Month of July 2010

Along with the increment in the productions of the auto industry the sales of the auto industry also developed. When we take the case of the world's leading nation U.S, the auto sales increased by 5% in the month of July.

July 2010 is considered as the eighth consecutive month for the growth when compared to the earlier levels and the growth is recorded as the lowest percentage growth since November 2009.


Only the companies, General Motors and Chrysler sales have posted their growth in the sales are around 5% each and the other two companies Toyota Motor Company and the Honda Motor company sales did not increase because of the government funded bankruptcies. Apart from the above companies, the companies like Nissan Motor and Hyundai motors rose their sales and they are 15% and 19% respectively. Even the sales of the Ford also got increased by just around 3%.


Among all the auto industries in U.S, Hyundai is considered as the fastest growing major automaker. Where as, the Toyota sales dropped by 3%. Honda sales are also decremented by 2%. While, the General Motor sales rose by 5%. 5% gain was recorded by Chrysler. According to the Edmunds tracking firm, Nissan left out with many incentives and had a strong growth. According to Auto data Corp. the overall sales rose by only 5% from July 2009 which is around 1 million vehicles.


Thus according to auto news, on the whole the best popular automakers for the month July 2010 are considered as General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Chrysler and Hyundai.

Global Automakers are Aiming to Spend More in India

As the market of India is growing day-by-day along with the customer needs many of the companies are showing interest to market their automotive. Apart from the home companies different international based companies are also making plans to extend their market in India.
Because of the fastest growing market in India, many of the global automakers are planning to boost their market by launching new models along with increasing their investment.

When we talk about the french car maker, Renault, it is planning to launch five cars during the period of mid-2011 to mid-2013 which includes a small car among them. When coming to the manufacturing of small cars Renault is in affiliation with Nissan and are manufactured at Chennai of India. And, the price of the car is competitive.

Toyota Etios which are specially designed for the Indians are going to be launched by the end of 2010 and the company is expecting to sell around 63,000 to 64,000 Etios compact cars in 2011. The sales of the Etios has rapidly expanded and is about 70% of the total car market. The contribution of the Etios is high in the sales because of the compactness.

Along with the India's top car maker, Maruti Suzuki, which had not lost its influence, the other major companies which are contributing their small cars are Honda, VolksWagen, Ford, Toyota, General Motors.

During the present year, the compact car sales of both General Motors Chevrolet beat and Ford's Figo are already on hike. Nissan in alliance with Renault company has started its sales of compact car, Micra from June. Even along with the two wheeler Company Bajaj, Renault-Nissan are manufacturing the low cost car.

Most of the companies are expanding their investments in order to increase the capacity. Ford company comes under this category and is making plans to introduce eight new vehicles during the middle of decade along with the sale of Compact Figo.

Apart from the Ford, Honda Indian Unit is also planning to launch a compact car in the second half of 2011.

Maruti is Launching its New Version of Alto

As the auto market sales are increasing day by day in India, many companies want to launch their new models for getting their model marketed, as the customers of India are showing interest in new models.

One of the famous car maker Maruti Suzuki, wants to lauch a new version of existing model Alto next month. Maruti suzuki is one of the highest selling car company and it sells 20,000 units each month. The new version is called as Alto K10. The features of the new version will be 1000-cc large engine instead of 800 cc of the previous alto and the car will be 125 mm longer than the vintage version and is more spacious when compared with the old wagonR and A-star. This car will be an affordable product. The cost of this K10 car ranges from 2.8 to 3.4 lakh and the top end variants which are available are Lxi and Vxi.


The car is featured with 1.0L, k10 engine which delivers 68PS maximum power at 6200 rpm with 90Nm of maximum torque at 3200 rpm. This new alto will give the correct answer to the competitors who are working on the new and lower priced products.


As of now, the sales of lower A-segment in every month is 30,000 units. The company is expecting the additional sales of 90,000 units in a year on the new model Alto, which helps in the growth of sales in each month to be around 37,500.


Thus, the new alto will satisfy the needs of the people.
