How to Keep Your Table Cloths from Blowing Off the Table?

Many people uses table cloths for covering and protecting tables from scratches and spills caused by food as well as for decorating purpose. In your home, there is no possibility of blowing tablecloths from the table because there cannot be windy conditions in a home. Whereas when people used to take these tablecloths for picnics or outdoors, windy conditions will mostly ruin their lunch or dinner by blowing off their tablecloth from the table.

Below are some helpful tips for stopping tablecloth blowing from the table:
  • First of all place the tablecloth on the table and then place the food items randomly on top of the table. These food items will act as weights on the tablecloth. But sometimes the corners of the tablecloths will raise and fall on these food items which will be a messy thing caused by the wind.
  • You can even add weights to the bottom of the tablecloths which are hanging downwards of the table by attaching a lace and stones with the help of glue. This will gives an extra weight to the tablecloth which prevents the tablecloth from blowing off from the table. Lace and stones or beads are available in local crafts stores. If you attach lace to the borders of the tablecloths, it not only protects from the wind but also it looks beautiful.
  • You can also use adhesive tabs on the corners of the table and attach the table cloth on the adhesive tabs by removing strips. This will also protect from blowing off.
  • You can even hang the weights to the corners of the table cloth by knotting some heavy material to the corners of the table.
