Server up time plays a key role in great performance of the website. However, any business owner should consider the server up time while deciding the website hosting service.
There are millions of providers of web hosting services which claim that they provide 99.9% up time for the clients but no single web hosting provider can live up to that claim. If you find the company which provides you of 99.9% service but they won't put in those servers and place them in a different servers. So, therefore we need to find out whether you are really getting that amount of up time from provider or not.
Server up time auditing is a method of finding whether a business owner is getting 99.9% of the server up time from the provider of the web hosting services or not. Some companies offer these services free and some are premium. However, we should not expect same amount of up time as what the web hosting company provides because they tend to have hundreds of data center and it is impossible to know which one they are using and which one you are placed into.
However, no reputable website host wants to ever experience downtime within its network and wants to provide all customers with 100% up time. In reality, even most qualified and network teams skill set cannot stop or prevent server downtime from occurring because sometimes hard drives and routers fail, storms cause power failures, connection issues with bandwidth providers and outages when updating operating system and software to keep everything working properly.
